These terms cover use of the Markplek platform itself — the storefront and WhatsApp ordering technology. They are separate from, and do not replace, the terms of any individual store you order from, shown on that store's own Terms page at checkout.

What Markplek is

Markplek is a software platform that lets small South African businesses (“tenants”) run a storefront and take orders over WhatsApp. Markplek is not a party to the sale between a tenant and its customers — each tenant is responsible for its own product descriptions, pricing, VAT treatment, and fulfilment of orders.

Acceptable use

Tenants must only list products and categories permitted by Meta's WhatsApp commerce and messaging policies.
Tenants are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, prices, and fulfilment promises.
No unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use of the platform or its WhatsApp integration.
